Los Angeles-Stefanie Michaels, executive producer, creator and host of Adventures with Adventure Girl™, announced Monday, that the new and improved Adventuregirl.com website has been launched.
"We had reached more than a million hits onto the site recently, and our numbers have surpassed our previous marker of more than the 66,000 fans that had participated in the last contest for the Bahamas Adventure in May. We felt it was time to change the look and give it a more interactive feel," says Michaels.
Insiders say that Michaels' opportunities have also exploded with the industries need to put a face on travel.
"Stefanie's warm and friendly appeal, mixed with her expertise of travel and related goods in the market place, makes her an ultimate spokesperson for any corporate entity, and the major plus of her experience in front of the camera for commercial endeavors," states Dona Young, a long time supporter of Michaels. "She will be the Martha Stewart of Travel. She is that determined."
Sites such as Newsguy.com and Askmen.com have also taken note, utilizing Michaels' writings of traveling experiences and her personal travel tips on their sites. "Stefanie's sections are some of the most popular areas, and she is being asked daily to offer her content on more of these sites around the web," states Young, "She is all over the internet!"
Michaels' travel tips and features are not only syndicated all over the net. A recent celebrity guest appearance on a morning network news show, garnered invites back as their monthly travel expert. "I love it. It's an avenue I have always wanted to venture down. I get to incorporate my television experience in front of the camera, something I have been doing since the age of three, with my passion for travel," says Michaels, "and I look forward to future opportunities like this."
Careful to keep Michaels' future opportunities under wraps, there are hints of a merchandising deal with a major luggage entity, and more adventures sponsored by a key resort and hotel company.
"Companies are finally getting me. They see what I can do for their products and bring attention to them. My web fans are constantly asking, What are you wearing in that shot and where can I get it? or "Where did you stay when you were in Belize?" says Michaels.
Which leaves us with one obvious question? Are there plans to take this to Hollywood?
"My main goal is to take this concept and online show off the web, and into a television near you," states Michaels. "On our site, we have a survey, where our web fans can come in and vote, and help get us to TV. They drive the site in more ways than one. I also think people are bored with current entertainment alternatives. Viewers want to see a little fantasy...something that takes them away from their stresses of everyday life, something that helps them relax, open up a world they might not have ventured into... and I want to show them this and make dreams come true!"
