Groundbreaking New Cincinnati, Ohio Based Band, 8C8 Preparing Their Highly Anticipated CD Release.
Cincinnati, Ohio, November 23rd, 2001- Rock Powerhouse, 8C8 is currently preparing to release their independently produced, 12 track debut CD entitled "Melbourne" titled after their hometown in Kentucky. This CD features songs influenced by a wide array of artists such as Tool, Def Tones, and others.
Having established themselves as a 3-piece rock group, Shane Alford (Drums), Joe Daniels (Bass) and Jeremy Smith (Vocal/Guitar) acquired the raw talent of guitar player Joe Beck and in doing so established a polished sound that was sure to impress the masses.
8C8, being a rising star in the Cincinnati, Ohio Tri-State region is currently building a very impressive fan base through means of live performances, radio promotions, radio airplay and local MTV commercials.
Having been approached by MCA records in late June of 2000, 8C8 was unfortunately not ready to begin working out a relationship, as they had only been together for 3 months at that time and unable to provide a CD. Well all is different now and 8C8 is ready to begin entertaining the majors with their current inquiries.
The 8C8 debut CD will be available Nov 23rd, 2001 at Cincinnati, Ohio Tri-State Stores, live shows, their website and many other online e-tailers. Please check the 8C8 website for further details.
