�Big Brother� meets �Pig Mother�!

Saltash.net community school�s website was nearly overwhelmed yesterday after thousands of webcam watchers from around the world logged on to try and get a glimpse of Delores and her family of 12.
The school set up a webcam in early March to keep a 24-hour watch on Delores, a Durok Cross-bred sow, who is living in the school's animal enclosure.
When Delores gave birth on Tuesday night the event was viewed worldwide and after the story was featured on BBC Radio Cornwall and Pirate FM the �hits� on the website started to increase dramatically.
By the end of Thursday some 6300 people had visited the site, some left comments about how much they enjoyed the cam, others even gave donations to �adopt� a piglet!
There are plans now for Delores to attend the Royal Cornwall Show as a celebrity in her own right!
Delores has had a litter of 12; 7 boys and 5 girls; all are doing very well indeed!

The project was set up as a result of a partnership between saltash.net community school and Sir Robert Gefferys school at Landrake.
