PRESS RELEASE - WEBSITE AIMS TO HELP THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW DIPLOMAS BY DELIVERING TRUSTED RESOURCES
Since going live, just over a year ago, SkillsLinks has been used over 1000 times to link to educational resources specialising in Key and Basic skills.
With the introduction of the new Diplomas only a few short weeks away it has never been more important to ensure that teachers and lecturers are using recommended and trusted online resources for the teaching of the Functional Skills element.
Split into three sections covering Application of Number, Communication and ICT, at all level, the site is easy to navigate and directs the user to the resources they require.
The site has introduced a Diploma discussion area to allow professionals involved in the implementation and delivery of the Diplomas to share their experiences and receive guidance and support.
Participation is encouraged and contributors are welcome to suggest sites or comment in the discussion area.
