UPES is organizing SPE India & Bangladesh Sub Regional Paper Contest

9th December, 2011, Dehradun: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies is conducting SPE India & Bangladesh Sub Regional Paper Contest on 10th and 11th December 2011. It is a kind of Sub Regional SPE Technical paper presentation and is expected to be participated by one and many.
Chancellor, UPES, shares, “Our aim lies in bringing out the best of talents from the students and also cut short their inhibitions. These competitions work as platform for our students to exhibit their work. With activities like, we are also able to get close to our students. In addition, it helps us to develop a good bond with well established delegations and authorities. We thus seek to materialise the dreams of our students.”
This contest is open for both undergraduate and postgraduate students and the paper is related to the petroleum engineering. As long as the student entrance requirements are concerned, a student is expected to be a member of SPE. Secondly, prior to the contest, all participants are required to submit a copy of Student ID and their entry forms to the UPES SPE Student Chapter. In addition, there are certain rules applicable for the abstract submission. To start with, it is important that all the submissions should be made in English.
