Dec. 2005 - With New Year resolutions at the top of everyone’s mind, the timing is perfect for a
world day to celebrate hypnotism. Building upon the tremendous success of last year’s inaugural event,
the second annual World Hypnotism Day, Wednesday, January 4, 2006, gives hypnotists an
opportunity to increase public awareness and understanding about hypnosis.
Hypnotists around the world will be presenting classes, lectures, and demonstrations of hypnotism to
improve the awareness of the uses and benefits of hypnosis to create change and maintain healthy
behaviors. Hypnosis is now known to be a successful approach for positive and healthy personal
change, as continually reported in major newspapers, magazines and television shows. What better
way could there be to begin the New Year? Everyone can now learn how to remove the struggle and
battle for healthy changes and live happier and healthier… once and for all. The myths and
misconceptions that have clouded the safe, natural and effective process of hypnosis continue to be
