Pressbox (Press Release) -
Two primary school teachers are launching Primary Education Helpdesk. Andrew Kenyon and Steven Capewell from Lancashire have managed to secure agreements with Adams Childrenswear, Letts Education and A and C Black. This exciting venture looks to open up the opportunity for more children to receive extra private tuition, to support children’s learning.
This innovative new service is run by qualified primary school teachers, bringing a quality one-to-one private tuition service 7 days a week, 12 hours a day at a price that is affordable. Unlike other services, Primary Education Helpdesk runs throughout the year, including school holidays, providing continuity and progression for children throughout the whole curriculum. Informative assessment strategies are used to enable children reach their full potential.
The association with Adams and the support from Letts Educational and A and C Black, allowing the use of their materials, makes this a unique service that will be hard to beat. The exciting thing about this service is that for the first time children and their parents will be able to use their computer to have direct access to a primary school teacher for private tuition, ensuring all children have the opportunity for a personal tutor to support, encourage, motivate, and most importantly enhance their confidence and learning.
As part of this tuition service, homework will be set, thoroughly marked, assessed and sent back with informative feedback and targets, once a week, using resources from respected education publishers. Parents will also receive a detailed report on their child’s progress once a month.
Primary Education Helpdesk uses ‘Kids Club’ as a way of motivating and encouraging children by bringing the famous Adams characters to life. This fun and interactive program enables children to collect ‘house points’ in order to win awards and prizes. Leading children’s book publishers Usborne are sponsoring the ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’, which is awarded at the end of each term.
There are two services that are on offer, ranging from £10 - £25 a month. Compare this with a private tutor who would charge from £15-£25 an hour, and you can see that this is extremely good value for money. This service will help alleviate the stress on parents keeping them informed with up to date monthly assessments of their child, guidance on school exams and also making sure that the latest government information is passed onto them.
Primary Education Helpdesk brings together leading companies to ensure children get the best from their primary education. More information can be found at www.primaryeducationhelpdesk.co.uk
