Teacher Training: New Kids on the Block

Pressbox (Press Release) -
eie Teacher Training wants to hear from teachers with suggestions or ideas for how it can constantly improve and provide better service to teachers and schools in the UK.
eie Teacher Training Director Mike Mills undertsands that its often hard for busy teachers to find time to concentrate on improving their own skills: "We know that schools are very busy places ( we should know, we work in them!) and teachers whether new or established are looking ahead to the future. We're big on change here at eie and applaud anyone that takes positive steps to move their career or their skill set onwards.
" In days of old, it might have been that 'promotion' or career advancement came to those that simply hung around a school or college for - well - years and years. There's nothing 'wrong' with keeping things the 'same' for those that really desire it.
"However, increasingly, many teachers aren't prepared to settle for 'no change' and with so many changes afoot in education today, the teachers seeking advancement in their career won't sit still for long".
Between now and Chrtistmas, teachers are invited to email their ideas and thoughts to eie; and if it adopts or uses an idea , in return a handy M&S Voucher will be sent out for the lucky recipient to splash out on (or use for a spot of very early Christmas shopping -sorry- we know, it's still October)!
Editor's Note: eie Teacher Training's mission is to provide Outstanding Training that Delivers What Really Matters to Teachers. Created this year and involving trainers Karl Turner, Harry Pearce and Michael Mills, it offers workshops, 'twilight' sessions and more convention training days or in-house courses for schools and teachers. It is currently at the initial application stage for Officially Registered Training Provider status for 2008, as part of the new TLA (Teaching & Learning Academy) which provides accreditation for teachers attending CPD in the UK
