Ossining, New York --April 1, 2002 - April is Math Awareness Month, a time
to encourage the importance of mathematics in our daily lives. The
theme for MAM this year is Mathematics and the Genome. Medical researchers use math to analyze data in their studies of genetics and DNA. Math Goodies is celebrating MAM by providing the following free activities and resources:

Using these resources, students can go on a WebQuest, visiting the linked sites to learn more about this topic, and then completing the puzzles. The MAM activities can be found at this URL:
