MAT February 2012: Download Admit Card & brush up your last minute preparation

The MAT February 2012 exam is just two days away now. The paper pencil test will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2012 and the computer based test will take place from Saturday, February 11, 2012 onwards.
This is the time to gear up for the D-day, but you should not forget that you have to take your Admit Cards for the MAT February 2012, without which you will not be able to take the test, be it in the paper pencil format, or the computer based format.
The registered candidates for both the formats of MAT February 2012 need to download the Admit Card before the paper pencil based test. The download window was opened on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
To download the Admit Cards, the candidates have to visit www.aima-ind.org/mat_centre.aspx
AIMA mentions, “Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the Date and Time of his or her choice subject to availability. Those who have not opted the date and time slot for four to five days; will be automatically allotted date and time slot by the system.”
AIMA also mentions that specific admit cards will be generated for the candidates opted for the Paper Pencil Based test and the Computer Based test. “Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No., Roll No., Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Test,” AIMA says.
So if you have not yet downloaded your Admit Card, or chosen the date for your computer based test, it is high time you do so.
The scores of MAT February 2012 will be accepted by 462 B-schools across India. The exam will be conducted in 68 cities in India.
MAT exam consists of four sections of Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment. The number of questions is 200 and the duration of the paper is 150 minutes.
The overall difficulty level of the paper is easy to moderate. The paper pattern remains similar and does not throw much surprise to the test takers.
If you have taken CAT, XAT, SNAP, IIFT, then taking MAT February 2012 shall not be a matter of concern for you.
