Following are all the details aspirants should know about the Bank of India's Clerical Recruitment Project.
Ever since the announcement of the Bank Clerical Recruitment Exams recently came out, there has been a fantastic number of applicants queuing up for the bank exam papers across the branches of the bank. Following is a break-up of the steps of the selection procedure.
Exam pattern :The selection would be done through a written test (300 marks) and an interview (100 marks). The written test would be an objective one and will be for a duration of 90 minutes and will have 200 questions spanning over the following sections :
* Test of Reasoning & Numerical Aptitude – 100 * 2 marks = 200
* Test of Clerical Aptitude – 50 * 1 mark = 50
* Test of English Language – 50 * 1 mark = 50
Similarly, another announcement is for Bank Probationary Officer (PO) Entrance Exam is also there where lots of querry been raised.
The minimum score to qualify for the interview stage is 40% in each section and 50% in all sections, although the information regarding negative markings in the bank exam paper is solely on the discretion of the bank. Further, besides the objective test, a descriptive test of 100 marks is also conducted for one hour, and is based on the latest events, current trends and communication skills of the candidate. The minimum marks to be secured in this test are 50%, but the same is not added to the final score and is considered only at the time of hiring.
As far as the selection procedure is concerned, the bank has clearly mentioned in the advertisement that candidates would be selected purely on the basis of merit. Only those aspirants who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in each of the interviews would be called for the interview. The ratio for selection in the personal interview is generally 1:3 (vacancies : eligible candidates). Further, the advertisement has also clearly stated the number of openings in each state.
