A message from Illustory: http://www.creatively-ever-after.com/illustory
Several years ago, Craig Ebel’s daughter came home from school with a classroom-made book called “Imaginary Things”. Even though the cover was chopped out of construction paper and the story was bound with a shoelace, he knew his daughter had truly created something magical. The story captured imaginative ideas and drawings that could only have come from a mind that never even questioned the fact that miracles were all around us. It was simple to see that the creativity behind this story was a precious thing and like any parent, it was only natural to envision her story in the form of a hard-cover book like those on bookstore shelves. Thus the Illustory product concept was born.
In the years following the invention of the product, Craig has launched Illustory nationwide and has enjoyed seeing it grow into one of the most popular children’s toys in recent memory. With his own website and contracts with major companies such as Toys-R-Us, Target, and Amazon, Craig has enjoyed seeing his product flourish.
Now, Craig is enjoying a new type of publicity and recognition for his product: awards. When he initially launched Illustory, Craig gave little consideration to the potential which the children’s toy might bring. However, now Illustory is being recognized as one of the most innovative, original, and best new toys for kids on the market. To date, Illustory has won over a dozen awards including the following:
• Family's Life Best Learning Toys Award
• Parents' Choice Classic Award
• Oppenheim Toy Portfolio's Gold Seal Award
• Dr. Toy's Best Toy -- Classic Award
Illustory could not be more thrilled and excited with the recent growth and recognition of the brand. “It is always a thrill to see something you care about be recognized by others, we are very proud of these awards.”
One of the things which sets the Illustory keepsake apart is the original and unique position of the toy. While so many kids today are obsessed with video games, movies, and TV, Illustory offers something entirely different. Helping to encourage kids to read, write, and use their imagination is a skill which Craig feels today’s kids are slowly loosing. This is, perhaps, one of the main reasons for all of the praise and recognition which Illustory is receiving.
With awards in hand, Illustory is excited to move into the future as it continues to offer a unique way for children to flourish.
The Illustory book keepsake was invented 12 years ago by Craig Ebel, after he saw a book his daughter brought home from school bound with yarn. Since the early 1990s, the illustory book kit (which comes hard bound-no yarn!) has been available in stores like Wal-mart, Toys r Us and target. In that time, hundreds of thousands of illustory book keepsakes have been sold. This year we will have sold over 1 million Illustories. Given the growth of the Internet, the Illustory keepsake has been available online on multiple sites for years. Creatively Ever After is now offering you the opportunity to purchase this creative toy from the inventor himself.
