Digital Evidence Conference attracts worldwide interest

Pressbox (Press Release) - FIDES04 (The Forensic Institute Digital Evidence Symposium 2004) has attracted interest from around the globe with papers being submitted from the USA, UK, India and Norway.

Derek Wyatt, MP, chairman of the Associated Parliamentary Internet Group and a prime activist in the anti-spam campaign will open the two-day conference on 1st March 2004 in Edinburgh.

Practical workshops will be conducted by well-known practitioners and authors such as Warren G. Kruse and industry leaders Vogon and Guidance Software will be presenting papers on techniques and tools.

The conference is being organised jointly by the Forensic Institute and n-gate ltd., and is chaired by Angus Marshall from the University of Hull.

The conference also includes an open workshop where delegates are being asked to contribute their ideas on better cross-sector cooperation between education, training, enforcement and investigation.
