DUNDEE-BASED CHARITY SET TO RAISE CHARITIES’ INCOME NATIONWIDE

Added: (Tue Apr 30 2002)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Many charities fail to take advantage of the government ‘Gift Aid’ scheme. Gift Aid is a programme whereby donations made to charity by individuals are topped up by the Inland Revnue who add 28p to each £1 donated.

WebTrust.org.uk, a Dundee-based charity, has developed a unique Gift Aid software package to ensure charities make the most of this arrangement. The system keeps track of donations made, identifies where Gift Aid declarations are required, and even prints out Inland Revenue approved forms.

Gift Aid 2002 is available to charities free of charge. For further information, WebTrust.org.uk can be contacted on 01382 305709, or at www.webtrust.org.uk

WebTrust.org.uk is supported by the Community Fund.
