China Bankers Association (CBA) Delegation Travels to Banker’s Academy for Customer Service Training

Pressbox (Press Release) - Members of the CBA’s delegation traveled to Edcomm Banker’s Academy to receive customer service training and to visit with prominent banks.

New York, NY, August 14, 2009 -- Members of the China’s Bankers Association (CBA) delegation traveled to Edcomm Banker’s Academy to receive customer service training and to visit with prominent banks in New York City. Beginning on July 29, the 12-member delegation participated in three days of training to improve the customer service culture at their Banks and Credit Unions in China.

During the three-day workshop, Edcomm Banker’s Academy led a training session for the 12-member delegation entitled, “Fostering an Effective Customer Service Culture.” The presentation focused on important customer service concepts and real-life examples that the Chinese Bankers will utilize at their own financial institutions in China, including: Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Bank of China, China Post Bank, CITIC Bank, Min Sheng Banking Corporation, Merchants Bank, Guang Zhou City Commercial Bank, Rural Credit Cooperation Union of Guang Xi and China Banking Association.

The delegation also met with the several Edcomm Banker’s Academy clients located in New York City to observe effective customer service cultures. At Banco Popular and Hudson Valley Bank, branch managers met with the Chinese Bankers to explain what they have done to provide excellent service to their customers, giving the delegation valuable tools to use when interacting with their customers in China.
