BAC accreditation for Dream Harvest College London

Pressbox (Press Release) - The highly influential British Accreditation Council has accredited courses run by Dream Harvest College, based at the East London Centre in Stratford.

Dream Harvest College London is a leading educational institution specialising in teacher Adaptation course among a range of courses. Hundreds of students from the United Kingdom as well as overseas - from Africa to Asia-Pacific - have enrolled on Dream Harvest courses.

Dream Harvest College was founded in 2000 by top British educationist Obeng de Lawrence who has years of experience in teaching in the London Borough of Newham. Obeng de Lawrence who was born in Ghana, has raised the status of the institution - it is now regarded as a model of good practice and a leading higher education establishment for minority ethnic communities.

BAC is a registered charity (non-profit-making organisation) which was established in 1984 to act as the national accrediting body for independent further and higher education. It is independent both of government and of the colleges with which it accredits.

A college which is accredited by BAC undergoes a thorough inspection every five years, with an interim visit after two-three years. Until 2000, BAC accreditation was only available to colleges in the United Kingdom, but there are now accredited colleges in the Czech Republic, France, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Greece, India, Germany and Switzerland . BAC’s Council includes nominees of a number of the major bodies concerned with the maintenance of standards in British education, including the Association of Colleges, the British Council, the Edexcel Foundation, the Council of Validating Universities, Universities UK, the Chartered Institutes, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and UKCOSA.

BAC commended Dream Harvest College for 'thorough work.' The College passed with flying colours recently after a rigorous inspection. Dream Harvest College courses are now fully accredited by the BAC.

Hundreds of students are currently enrolling at Dream Harvest College. Ministers of Her Majesty's Government have been visiting the Dream Harvest Group in Stratford.
