A Unique fundraising opportunity for PTA’s and Schools
SchoolTalk in conjunction with OneBill Telecom (the telephony service provider), has now launched their new school fundraising programme.
SchoolTalk is an idea by parents of primary school children, who are part of a PTA and know how difficult fund raising can be. SchoolTalk combines the benefit of a great economic telephone service for families and friends of the school, together with a fundraising donation by SchoolTalk of £1.00 monthly per subscriber to the school.
Here's how SchoolTalk works:
The PTA will receive an information pack giving all details of SchoolTalk. Once the school PTA has registered interest via the web or by phoning, they will be given an individual school number.
Parent packs will then be sent to the school for distribution to the schools families. There are several ways the families can subscribe, the web, an application form or calling in with their details.
Once the families have subscribed or anyone else that wants to support the school for that matter, the school will receive a monthly donation of £1.00 per subscriber paid quarterly to the school.
Sarah Budd – SchoolTalk Director says “We believe that this method of fundraising will be a milestone, the more the schools become independent, the more funds they require. Schooltalk is a no risk option and the families decide if they want to assist and can opt out any time. Just 100 subscribers from a school will assist the school with an anual £1,200 donation which could help with many school requirements”.
