The poker player’s reference guide launches in the UK

A new online guide to playing poker, with expert tips, advice and links to the very best gaming destinations is now available.
The Poker Player (www.pokerplayermag.co.uk) is the latest site from Excite Publishing, the UK’s fastest growing publisher of emagazines and affiliate sites.
The site contains news, advice and tips from some of poker’s biggest names, and a host of useful features. Online poker sites now attract more than 1.3 million players in the UK, and The Poker Player aims to tap into this burgeoning market.
“ We feel that online gaming, and in particular poker, will continue to grow in popularity,” says John Weir, managing director of Excite “This site is ideally positioned to give users advice on how to play, and of course guidance on the best sites to visit.”
The site will be regularly updated by an editorial team led by Lynda Burgess, Excite’s creative director. Marketing for the site will be provided by The Search Agency.
