The Felbridge Hotel Relaunches after £5m facelift

Pressbox (Press Release) - Relaunched in June 2007 after a £5 million refurbishment, the Felbridge Hotel is setting out to become the most exciting hotel in the South of England with superb facilities and some of the most innovative dining in the county.

The hotel was bought just over eighteen months ago and has been completely refurbished by entrepreneur Paul Warren, whose vision of elegant, affordable luxury is embodied throughout the venue. The refurbishment was completed in December 2007, with interior design by the Occa Design Consultancy who have created an oasis of modern calm throughout the hotel, a sparking jewel of a cocktail bar and a rich, relaxing spa in which guests can unwind.

Hotel
On entering the hotel guests are welcomed at reception which leads into the lounge area and library. Open plan, these areas are designed for informal meetings, afternoon tea or simply relaxing after supper.

Bedrooms
The hotel has 120 bedrooms each of which is beautifully furnished with finishing touches in the latest décor trends, ranging from standard doubles (priced £155) through to luxury suites (priced £245). All rooms have flat screen televisions, Egyptian cotton sheets, hairdryers and Elemis toiletries, with luxury rooms also having the added benefits of Japanese-style showers, fluffy towelling robes, complimentary fruit basket, complimentary bottle of wine and more space. Many rooms have views over the newly landscaped gardens and sun decks.

Anise Restaurant
Open just six months, the fine dining, Anise restaurant already boasts two AA Rosettes for which it achieved the highest mark of any restaurant in Sussex. New Head Chef Matthew Budden has high ambitions for this restaurant and will continue to seek honours with his innovative menus and quality produce sourced from local suppliers including Chapel Down Wines, Nyetimber Vineyard and The Pure Oyster Company.

Bay Tree Restaurant
The Bay Tree Restaurant offers high quality, simple food from outstanding local suppliers which is expertly cooked. More relaxed, the Bay Tree Restaurant offers both a children’s menu and high chairs for families to enjoy without compromising on the quality of delivery.

The Qube Champagne & Cocktail Bar
Designed to rival any bar in London, the Qube boasts a sparkling bar area, lit from behind and hosting some of the World’s premium brands. The bar also boasts bespoke Champagne tables with a removable centre revealing a built in ice bucket for keeping Champagne chilled.

Ideal for drinks events, meeting friends or a romantic rendezvous, The Qube is one of the region’s most stunning additions.

The Chakra Spa
Named after the seven Chakra’s of the body, the Chakra Spa offers Elemis treatments including Hot Stone Massage, The Pro-Quartz Lifting Facial, Oxygen Facial, Men’s Urban Treatments and Frangipani Body Wraps.

The spa plays host to six treatment rooms, hair salon and Jessica Nail Bar as well as a luxury pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool and state-of-the-art Technogym fitness room.

The spa also offers a full range of holistic treatments specifically designed to treat different charkas of the body with aromatherapy oils and healing.

The Ballroom
With its stylish and modern decor, the Ballroom can accommodate up to 450 guests theatre style or for canapés and drinks, or 300 guests for dinner. The room also boasts flexible, moveable walls with acoustic softening to change the room for conferences and meetings.

The Willow Suite
An intimate dining and meeting space with the addition of a conservatory makes this room perfect for smaller weddings and events. The room can accommodate 80 for dinner or 100 for theatre style conferences.

Meeting Rooms
There are several well equipped meeting and conference rooms available with full audio visual facilities, conference calling and WiFi.
