Added: (Thu Sep 21 2006)

Pressbox (Press Release) - A new Christmas book goes on sale today through the online publisher lulu.com - a Christmas Sudoku and Shendoku Games book offering 50 Sudoku Puzzles, 50 Shendoku games and launching a completely new family game for Christmas - "FindYour9"

From today a new book is available on Lulu.com that encourages Sudoku fans to socialise at Christmas. The book, a large format paperback, designed to be used and abused over the Christmas period, is the latest in a range of books featuring the Shendoku multi player game - as seen in bookstores.

The difference this time is that the book offer Sudoku puzzles for the unsociable, Shendoku games for the sociable, and a treat for both. A new game format, called FindYour9 or FY9 for short, is playable on both the Shendoku and Sudoku pages.

The game allows one person to be "gridmaster" and up to nine others to compete in a fast and fun family game, ideally suited for the chaos that it Christmas.

A visit to cafepress/su_shop offers an alternative version of the same book, with different puzzle and game grids of course, and is available in a spiral bound edition for easier removal of pages for play.

The game, FY9, is the second new game from the Shendoku.com stable, with further games promised for 2007. Currently there is a Beta of an on-line single-player Shendoku game available for testing at Rorohiko.com and a mobile phone version is scheduled for release around Christmas time.

Further game variations are yet to be finalised, but so far seven distinct game formats have been lodged for copyright and format protection, and all are currently available for development as TV Game Shows. Shendoku.com welcomes enquiries from TV Production companies and are already in early stage discussions regarding two of their lodged formats.

Further information can be found at the shendoku.com website, or by subscribing to the shendoku.blogspot.com news blog.
