Salon showcases 2010 bridal hair at wedding fair

Pressbox (Press Release) - Compton Acres teamed up with hairdressers at Salon 1336 to showcase the latest trends at its annual wedding fair.
Over 700 people flocked to the event in January and were treated to a fashion show with dresses displayed by top designers and hair and beauty styled by Salon 1336.
Salon owner Natalie Cranston said: “We were very honoured to be invited to makeup the models for the third year running. Bridal hair fashions have changed a lot in the three years we’ve been involved with the show… they’re now reminiscent of the natural elegance and glamour of the 1920s…hair pinned to one side is a major trend of 2010 and it’s a pleasure to style.”
The hairdressing chain, which has branches in Winton and Parkstone, is the salon of choice for Compton Acres weddings, and numerous brides are referred there each year.
Laura Hart, marketing and events manager at Compton Acres, said: “We’re delighted Salon 1336 was able to help again this year – they always do such a good, professional job.”
Natalie added: “The wedding fair has generated a lot of referrals to us. The styles we demonstrated at the wedding fair included curls, hair-up and glamorous looks for short hair.”
