Safer Trick or Treating

Added: (Thu Sep 14 2006)

Pressbox (Press Release) - Trick or Treating is loads of fun but runs the risk of annoying the neighbours and possibly getting an ASBO.

Ensuring your kids don't drive people mad with trick or treating is now simple.

A new site has launched which offers readers a free printout to distribute round their neighbourhood to ensure Trick or Treating goes well without disturbing people who don't want to be disturbed.

Halloween Freebies - http://www.halloweenfreebies.co.uk has been launched this week to provide free stuff for people who want to enjoy Halloween but don't want to spend loads of money. The site offers a choice of downloads which can be printed out. Even one for people to print out to say no to trick or treaters is available.

The idea is though that people planning to trick or treat should print out and distribute the leaflet a few days before Halloween and people who want to be visited will display the notice in their windows. This means that only houses showing the leaflet should be visited.

It offers free patterns for making costumes, free recipes for creepy Halloween food and party ideas and games. The site is free to use and also offers listings for free firework displays. The site offers lots of advice on safe trick or treating too so parents can rest easy knowing their kids will have fun and a safe time.
