Pressbox (Press Release) - RECESSION BUSTING OVERLAND!
THE ROAD TO ZANZIBAR – 16-NIGHTS FOR ONLY £431 p/p!!!
HURRY – 25th NOVEMBER 09 DEPARTURE

If you thought you couldn’t afford that trip-of-a-lifetime, here’s some rather good news! Dragoman has slashed the price of one of its best African overlands by a recession busting 25% - its 16-night journey from Nairobi to the Indian Ocean beaches of Zanzibar, via some of Africa’s greatest wildlife parks, now costs only £431 p/p. Tour departs Nairobi 25th November 2009 – BOOK NOW!

Just outside Nairobi, it’s back to school for travellers (but in a good way!) as they get hands-on at the Kariandusi School Trust’s latest project at Langalanga, following the earlier raising of £45,000 through Dragoman, and building of eight new classrooms. Here, participation in teaching, buildings fabrication and land management is the order of the day. Further highlights of the tour include exploring the flamingo-rich Lake Nakuru, visiting ‘Elsamere’ - once home of the Adamsons of Born Free fame, game drives in Serengeti National Park and a jeep safari in Ngorongoro Crater. An overnight at a Masai Boma – a Dragoman-supported community project, gives travellers a genuine insight into a traditional pastoral way of life. Later, more wildlife of a reptilian nature is observed at Arusha’s snake park before heading to the coast for an idyllic 3-night stay on the exotic Indian Ocean island of Zanzibar.

The tour now costs only £431 p/p (was £575) plus kitty $710 (~£430) including travel aboard Dragoman’s customised Mercedes-Benz truck, hotel and camping accommodation (30%/70%), all camp meals plus the expertise of Dragoman's two person crew and local campmaster.
Flights are not included but are available through Dragoman.
