Richard Brayshaw is one of four photographers taking part in a photography exhibition at The Farnham Maltings. The exhibition starts with a private viewing on 31 July 2008 and is then open to the public from Friday 1 August until Sunday 3 August 2008. Entrance is free.
The four photographers showing their work are Richard, Adam Whatton, Margaret Antoniou and Suzanne Pollen. They met in September 2007 at University College for the Creative Arts in Farnham. “The opportunity”, said Richard, “to submit one piece of work into the end of term show at the College inspired us to bring together a larger collection of our work. The Farnham Maltings provides the perfect venue.”
Richard Brayshaw is the only one of the group who works as a professional photographer. His contemporary style and eye for artistic detail recently won him a contract to take photographs of gift collections created by Spotty Boxes for their website www.SpottyGiftBoxes.co.uk. An example of his work is the Gardening Gift Set for Women.
Although he only became a full time photographer recently, Richard has had a long standing love of photography and is proud to have been selected as a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society over a decade ago. Samples of his photography can be seen on his website http://www.newhill.net/.
