Overseas property for sale: Portugal offers variety and stable prices

The area north of Lisbon is blessed with the verdant scenery of the wine-growing regions. After sluggish property price increases between late 2006 and early 2007, price growth picked up in the first quarter of 20087 to reach 3.8% — comparable with Spain.


Estate agent Knight Frank has just cited Portugal's Silver Coast as one of the top 10 prime areas in the world to watch for price growth. The agent says: “The areas enjoys a high level of seclusion unlikely to be broken by lower-quality developments.”
