OutdoorKit's Vango Tent Range Increases

Pressbox (Press Release) - OutdoorKit are thrilled to be stocking brand new Vango tents for Spring and Summer 2010.

TheVango Green Bean is a tunnel tent with huge Porch Area, ideal for storing essentials including gear. If the weather becomes undesirable, the tent features a high, central pole to make the porch area big enough to be used as a living space. With a protext 2000 recycled polyester flysheet, not only does the Green Bean have great protection against the rain, it also helps out the environmentally friendly. The tent also has taped seams and a Polyethylene 10,000HH grounsheet with fire retardant assurance. Added features include a handled carry bag, inner pockets and lantern loop. To help keep the overall weight as light as possible, the tent is constructed using fibre glass poles. It comes with heavy duty pole sleeves and the poles themselves are colour coded for ease of use. The tent also has a breathable fabric inner with part mesh inner door, and and front and rear mesh vents for a good amount of ventilation. The Vango Green Bean 350 costs £104.99 and weighs 6.850kg. It comes in the colour Forest Green.

The Vango Green Wing 500 and 300 are part of Vango’s environmentally friendly Eco Range, offering ease of pitching and a generous living space. For those wanting to get away on a regular basis, the Green Wing offers good usable space in relation to weight and size. Featuring Vango’s own Tension Band System, this tent has extra added stability, which is very useful in windy conditions. A protex 2000 recycled polyester flysheet equips the tent with excellent protection against wet environments. Waterproofing comes from taped seams and Polyethylene 10,000HH groundsheet. The tent comes with cable entry point, lantern loop and a handled carry bag. The tent has a short pitching time of 10 minutes, allowing more time for all your outdoors adventures. The Vango Green Wing 300 costs £129.99 and weighs 8.400kg and the 500 costs £169.99 and weighs 13.350kg. They both come in the colour Forest Green.

The Vango Maritsa 700 and 500 are both luxurious 7 and 5 person tents respectively. Their tunnel design features a large living area and front entry porch. The bedrooms are situated to the back of the tent. One of the rooms can double as a walk in closet, coming complete with a hanging rail for your garments. The Maritsa 500 and 700 tents both have protext 3000 Polyester flysheets and taped seams for excellent protection and waterproofing. Assembling the tent should be done in no time, with colour coded poles to make pitching easier. When the wind picks up, The Maritsa’s Powerplus steel poles equip the tent with durability and stability. It has a sewn in polyethylene 10,000HH ground, which again gives great protection against wet and damp conditions. The tent includes multiple mesh vents, two cable entry points and tidies, and a separate front porch with riser groundsheet. The Maritsa allows as much natural light into the tent as possible with large crystal clear windows. The tent also has a zippered divider in the sleeping area to separate into smaller compartments.
