Pressbox (Press Release) -
Off To Bed Ltd, the bed retailing division of the 3Business Group has today (26th October 2005) moved into a brand new distribution centre. This deal was concluded by the newly appointed property agents Hartley Cowley. The distribution centre covers approximately ten thousand square feet and as such will cover the rapidly growing company until the beginning of next year. Off To Bed are still in talks regarding a forty thousand square foot central distribution centre. Noel McGallagly stated that "The Off To Bed central distribution centre was desperately required as the initial formula was to have self-sufficient stores, this worked in terms of a quick start up plan but we under estimated just how busy we were going to be, especially with the claimed downturn in retail. On paper we were expecting the quietest time of year like most of our competitors but this has not happened as every month we smash our own targets. I believe this could be with the sustained advertising campaigns and low cost of getting these campaigns to the public. This has been achieved as Offtobeds parent company has utilised it's own design and production studio to handle the Off To Beds campaigns. 3Business handle everything from point of sale, newspaper advertisements, magazine advertisements and even television advertisements. One example of our success with this project is that television advertisements cost us hundreds of pounds to produce compared to just under ten thousand pounds which other rival companies in the industry are known to be paying"
"Further to this we are also still on target for ten stores before Christmas as we have six in the pipeline to drop before the end of the year which include five situated in retail parks. In addition to this we are opening a very cheeky store although I am not at liberty to say where! In summary though if one falls through we will still have our ten which was the initial target. Next years aim is to be the largest player in the Scottish market taking out Bedshed"
