OZ TALK TRAVEL AWARDED OFFICIAL ASHES CRICKET TICKET STATUS

Oz Talk Travel, the UK's top independent Australian Travel Specialist, has been granted official status as a licenced company to sell cricket tickets for the Ashes Series in Australia this Christmas.
“We travelled to Australia days after England’s victorious win of the Ashes in the summer to hand pick our seats for our escorted tour. We now know for sure that our customers will have unrivalled views from our reserved seats. The cricket grounds were surprised we were so quick off the mark but we wanted to absolutely sure the seats were the best”, said General Manager, Kane Gordon.
Like a lot of major sporting events obtaining tickets can prove to be a real headache for fans as ticketing agents pounce on ‘exclusive rights’. Oz Talk felt that taking action early they could slip through he back door using their huge influence as the UK’s top independent ‘Aussie Specialists’ and all the contacts and influence in Australia that brings. The tactic paid dividends. Oz Talk is happy with the results and so are a lot of very happy crickets that have bagged places on their tours.
The icing on the cake came in early February when Oz Talk was also awarded official status as a ticket agent. This status was based on the company’s standing as a fully bonded Australian Specialist Travel Agent and a demonstration that the demand for tickets through the company met the minimum requirements. The company more that satisfied the parameters and was rubber-stamped as 'official cricket ticket agents' on 1st February.
Current numbers booked to go with Oz Talk for this big event is just short of eight hundred with many opting to take the family and wrap a big holiday round the cricket events. But their very special escorted tour with seats stolen from under the noses of the ticket-hungry agents is the big pull. Top seats, top quality food and drink, celebratory parties (of course) and lots to see and do organised by a travel agent that really knows the country and all it has to offer.
Sales Manager at Oz Talk, Chris Forde, advises cricket fans not to delay in reserving their places on the tours as accommodation and flight options are narrowing with the passing weeks. “As a great cricket fan and amateur player myself”, said Chris, “I have a particular interest in these tours and know what cricket fans like myself want out of a trip like this. In fact I am so determined that our Escorted Tour it will be the best ever, that I will be one of the Tour Guides. It’ll be interesting as I am an Aussie so I expect me and my fellow travellers will have a few friendly ‘verbal matches’ before any action on the pitch!”
