ONTRACKS.CO.UK PROVE TO BE GOOD SPORTS

Added: (Sun Jan 21 2007)

Pressbox (Press Release) - OnTracks.co.uk are helping their staff and customers to save £1,000s on everyday goods and services in a unique initiative that will generate significant funding for sports participation programmes aimed at children across Wales.
The initiative is called the Welsh Sport'ers Club (Sport'ers being short for Sport Supporters) and has been launched by the Welsh Sports Association (WSA), the umbrella for all of the national governing bodies of sport and physical recreation in Wales.
The Welsh Sport'ers Club has been developed to help organisations of all sizes reward their staff, customers and members whilst supporting projects that assist in health, education and social inclusion of young people through sport.
OnTracks.co.uk is one of the first organisations in Wales to support the programme. Fiona Mulhall said: "We have always sought to provide the best value for our staff and customers and are delighted that our membership of the Welsh Sport'ers Club enables us to provide extensive rewards whilst helping the development of Welsh sport. Now customers not only benefit from our low prices on over 35,000 model and hobby products – they also have access to all these extra benefits.”
The WSA's Welsh Sport'ers Club works by enabling organisations to set-up a private intranet for as little as £199.00 that provides discounts of up to 60% on items such as DVDs, electrical goods, gifts, bicycles, holidays, home and travel insurance, and car recovery service.
The programme provides promotional literature on a CD-ROM that can be individually tailored and printed and when staff, customers or members register online, they can start shopping - either online or by telephone – and take advantage of the discounts. Registered users are regularly emailed new offers and entered into draws for exclusive prizes.
WSA Commercial Development Officer David Cotton, said: "UK companies spend around £9billion a year on rewarding their staff and customers and the Welsh Sport 'ers Club provides organisations with the opportunity to invest some of this expenditure in a more valuable way."
"The additional beauty of the initiative is that organisations operating throughout the UK can also use the Welsh Sport'ers Club as it can be individually branded for each organisation and provides national offers." Organisations interested in the Welsh Sport'ers Club should call David Cotton at the Welsh Sports Association on 029 2064 9862.
