October 1, 2001 Noelities, Inc., a family-owned business focused on handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations, began doing business on the World Wide Web, providing its unique, handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations to a larger market.
For over 10 years the family has been crafting Christmas decorations and handmade Christmas ornaments in their local markets of Indianapolis, Indiana, Naples, Florida and Los Angeles, California. “For our family, explained President Sallie Hoge, Christmas means ‘giving of yourself’, so each time we design and create one of our Christmas decorations or handmade Christmas ornaments we feel its true meaning. It was only in the last year that the family decided to ‘go Global’. We have been gearing up for the last year, building inventory so that we would be successful in the broader market.”
NOELities has a product line consisting of hand-made, one-of a kind Christmas items including a broad array of handcrafted ornaments, wreaths, snowman and other decorations. “Ornaments are our specialty”, said Ms. Hoge. “We have a variety of them, all hand-painted, including Gold, Victorian, Poinsettia, Holly, Potpourri-filled, and Snowflake. The snowflake is a favorite with customers. It is a large hand painted clear ball decorated with a large shimmering white snowflake on 2 sides and tied off with a large white bow. Absolutely gorgeous!”
