New safer trampoline proves a wiiner with parents

The new JumpPOD garden trampoline - the first to feature a fully integrated safety enclosure - is proving a winner with parents across the UK.
Specifically developed after discussions with ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) and following reports regarding general trampoline safety, the Jumpking JumpPOD has a revolutionary design which means that it is not only safer for children to use, it is quicker and easier to erect and more durable too.
ROSPA reported that around 70% of trampolining accidents occur where there is no safety enclosure surrounding the trampoline. The JumpPOD features an extra strong tri-layer socket T-Connector system, which dispenses with the need for brackets such as those traditionally used to join a separate enclosure to a graden trampoline. Instead the net poles drop straight into the trampoline's legs. It is a truly integrated trampoline and safety enclosure and is reckoned to be the safest and most structurally secure trampoline on the market. The base of the net is securely attached to the edge of the bouncing area, which means that there is no danger of a child's leg slipping down between the trampoline springs, as has been known to happen with lower quality designs. In addition, the safety net is held taught by horizontal shock corded rods which means the net does not sag or gape.
Weak frames have been a cause of trampoline accidents in recent years and have led to several product recalls amongst the large multiples. The JumpPOD's robust over and under spring design reduces the strain on the trampoline as well as providing an improved jumping performance.
The JumpPOD is available in 14ft, 12ft and 10ft diameters and prices start from just £259.
Since the model's launch in April 2006, over 5000 units have been sold, with demand continuing to exceed that seen for any previous model. Trampled Underfoot have the exclusive distribution rights to the JumpPOD in the UK and much of Europe.
