Joint Equity for Property Sellers

Joint Equity announced on 27th June 2005 that their Joint Equity Shared Home Ownership Scheme has been extended to include individuals selling their own properties.

Joint Equity matches buyers who can not afford the full mortgage with private investors who want to invest in property ethically.

Now anyone selling a property can become a Joint Equity Vendor Partner and benefit from ability to sell 50% of the property to the occupier and 50% to the investor.

The seller can use their own estate agent or a Joint Equity Estate Agent Partner and can use the Joint Equity logo in their adverts together with the occupier’s 50% purchase price. A very powerful marketing advantage.

When the sellers scheme was piloted the response was an increase in viewings of over 300%.

There is a further advantage for sellers as they can remain as the investor by only selling 50%. This is particularly interesting for Buy to Let owners who want to retain an interest in the property without the costs and hassle.

Sellers can find more details on the Joint Equity web site www.vendors.jointequity.co.uk and the specialist Buy to Let crossover site is www.buy-to-let.jointequity.co.uk .
