New Durian Seasons Excursions to Malacca Hotels

The AP Hotel Group who have a number of hotels in Melaka have noticed a distinct rise in bookings during the Durian seasons as Singaporeans and Malaysians alike go looking for their favorite fruits

The Durians is Singapores favorite fruit and loads of people will travel a long way to get it. Its much cheaper to find it in Malaysia as well with prices about 30% less than in Singapore.

The hotel business has had a busy time coping with the demand.

The staff at the Atlantic Park Hotel in Melaka told us that they get many requests about Durian and where they can find it. The latest craze seems to be pick your own so you can be sure its really fresh.

The Singaporeans are normally spending 2-3 days in Malaysia and staying at budget hotels that are cheap and good so they can go out and stock up on durian.

The Atlantic Park Hotel in Malacca has benefited from the surge. The family run 40 room hotels has regular guests coming who use the hotel as base camp for durian excursions.
