Introducing SmellsAway – A revolutionary new product designed to combat bad odours produced by house

Added: (Thu Sep 04 2008)

As more councils move to fortnightly or alternate week waste and recycling collections, the smell from rubbish and food waste can be overpowering and very unpleasant - especially in the summer months. P & P Technology Ltd have developed an innovative solution to this problem.

Constructed of activated carbon fibre and highly pourous, the pad literally sucks bad smells from the air leaving the surrounding area odour free. Adhesive on one side, the pad sticks to underside of your bins lid. The pads are designed to fit in wheelie bins, with a standard size of 250mm by 250mm, but they can be easily cut to any size to fit smaller bins and food waste caddies using kitchen scissors.

To maintain maximum efficiency, the pad should be reactivated after 4 weeks, by exposing it to sunlight for approximately 3 hours, and should be replaced after the third reactivation. The old pad can be disposed of with normal household waste, as the carbon based materials are inert and will not impact on the environment.

These pads are available to buy online from www.smellsaway.co.uk or over the phone on 01823 358913. A pack of two pads costs £3.99 plus £1.25 postage and packaging.
