PRESS RELEASE

CELEBRITY GREEN BABIES

A LONDON mum is campaigning for celebrity mums-to-be, including Myleen Klass and Charlotte Church, to give birth to Green Babies.

Rayne, who has a three-year-old daughter, believes celebrity mums could help protect the planet by opting for Organic, natural or Fairtrade products for their babies.

She's also campaigning for the stars to ditch the disposable nappies in favour of the more environmentally friendly cloth nappies. To try to persuade them, Rayne is planning to send some free cloth nappies to expecting mums Charlotte, Myleen, Katie Price and Emma Bunton!

Around 8 million disposable nappies are thrown away every year, contributing to 4 per cent of the UK's total waste.

Rayne, who owns leading online store www.bebeco.co.uk which sellins organic, natural and Fairtrade products for mum and baby, said: "Celebrities can do some real good for the planet by setting an example to their fans. They have the power to really make a difference and promote green living. A good start would be when they give birth. I'd like to see them give birth to Green Babies!

"It would be wonderful if they used organic baby clothes, wooden toys from replenished trees and disposable nappies."
