Take a world trip this summer without leaving home…discover Linen & Moore’s new globally inspired table linen, bed linen, cushions and throws
Eating: Set the mood for entertaining with Linen & Moore’s latest additions to their covetable Bordeaux collection. New tablecloth and napkin designs include: Allium, a pretty black traced floral; Tivoli, a vivid geometric diamond print; Provence, a typical South of France pattern; Orsay, a soft pale blue universal floral and Latisha, a bright pastel English-style floral. Each design is block printed by hand in 100 per cent washable cotton.
“Saturated colours are making a return to table settings,” says Linen & Moore managing director Anna Lofts. “Whether a casual luncheon or alfresco feast people are using colour to express their creativity beyond the kitchen. It’s a great mood enhancer and brings an air of exuberance to the table.”
Discover two new designs in hard placemats that are made from cork – Ink Tree and Elephants. Ink Tree is an artful interpretation of a wind-blown tree in gorgeous shades of indgo. Elephants depict four different designs of ornately dressed elephants inspired by classic Indian paintings.
Sleeping: Linen & Moore takes inspiration from nature with its beautiful new bed linen embroidery, Dandelion. The subtle embroidered white dandelion heads with delicate silver stems on crisp white cotton add to the sensation of cool comfort for a fresh, light summer bed.
For the top of the bed Linen & Moore introduces two new lightweight quilts, Sassoon and Ravello. Sassoon brings together an interesting mix of materials and design. Its ikat-like design printed in metallic silver and bronze on soft cotton adds to its casual luxe appeal. Ravello combines a hint of tradition with the contemporary. Its subtle quilted squares in neutral sepia shades on soft cotton add to its ‘je ne sais quoi’.
Living: Think colours of summer…coastal retreat to country garden. This season’s new cushions and throws offer an eclectic mix of internationally inspired design, brilliant colour and rich texture. Cushion highlights include: Leaves, Ikat Embroidery, Florence, Tulips, Copenhagen, Stained Glass and Elephant.
