When a potential customer visits the website www.firstchoicehampers.com, they can click on "Meet Giles" link where they will receive instructions on how to claim a Free Christmas Gift.
A purchase must accompany the claim for the free gift which ranges from chocolate truffles, Walker's Shortbread to Avruga Caviar.
First Choice Hampers, launched September 2001, is run by Mark and Dana Fisher. Mark's contribution to the company ranged from programming the site to researching traditional English goods. Dana's contribution was graphical and marketing research. Dana, an American Citizen, also contributed her detailed knowledge of American tastes and culture, helping the website target the huge American consumer market alongside the UK and EEC.
