Farming in the 21st Century...

Sheep & emails...

As the UK farming industry declines many farmers are forced to diversify or face bankruptcy. Many have turned to growing new kinds of crops, some to investing in new kinds of livestock. Some however are trying more revolutionary ideas.

A small farm in S Wales has taken its fist tentative steps into the world of online retail.

On the 4th July 2005 Stylish Life Ltd was born. The company offers exclusive lifestyle, gifts and homeware to the UK market from its award winning web site: www.stylishlife.co.uk.

The idea behind the change from breeding sheep to e-commerce came from the eldest son Jonathan, who after gaining a degree in product design, and having had a successful career in web design working for Orange & BT decided to travel the world and seek new horizons.

The company hopes to compete against the likes of Habitat & Heals, who also offer contemporary homeware.
