Eye on Spain Launches Long Term Rentals Portal to Assist Investors
Brought on by the needs of investors unable to sell their Spanish off-plan properties before completion, Eye on Spain have launched a dedicated long-term rentals portal to assist investors in renting out their properties in this growing rental market.
As the market for property in Spain has slowed down considerably and with an abundance of properties for sale, investors who anticipated selling their off-plan properties on before completion, hence avoiding the high capital gains tax, are now finding that they have to complete on these properties, therefore taking out a mortgage, furnishing their properties and further burdened with other ongoing associated costs.
“Many of the members registered with Eye on Spain are property investors. Many are very concerned that they cannot, or will not, be able to sell their properties and may end up completing on them instead” said Justin Aldridge, Managing Director. “Our new long term rentals portal is designed to assist these investors by featuring their properties to rent on the Eye on Spain website. The market for long-term rentals is very buoyant.”
Listing a property for rent on the long term rentals portal for Spain is free until the end of the year. Thereafter there will be a small charge for the service.
