Cadogan Holidays has therefore put together this comprehensive 2 day, privately guided excursion programme, ideal for either the first time or returning visitor to the city. Their expert Egyptologist will guide guests through the rich history of this ancient civilization with plenty of time to enjoy the leisure facilities at the hotel. The party size will be no larger than a guest’s family or travelling companions with the opportunity to ask the personal guide as many questions as the group wishes.

Arrival Days:

Arrival day is each Monday when you choose to combine this 2 day Cairo programme with a 4 or 7 day cruise on the Nile. Arrive any day if you combine it with a relaxing stay on the Red Sea at one of our superb hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. This itinerary can also be booked as a single centre with extra days in Cairo as required.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Day from the UK: You will be met at Cairo airport by our representative and after customs formalities are taken care of you be escorted by private car to you hotel for a 3 night stay at your chosen Cairo hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast you will meet your Egyptologist for a full day tour visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities including the Tutankhamun Exhibition and the Bazaar of Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s most famous.

Day 3: Today you will be guided around the highlights of Coptic Cairo, the city’s landmark Citadel and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali and the unique collection housed in the Gayner Anderson Museum. In the evening you will be escorted to the amazing sound and light show with the backdrop of the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx for an unforgettable evening.

Day 4: Transfer to Cairo airport for departure to Luxor for a Nile cruise or Sharm El Sheikh to enjoy the Red Sea.

Price:
1st and second persons pay £184 each, additional persons pay £124 each. Must be booked with accommodation and flights.

Price includes all transfers, excursions and entry to museums as detailed.
Lunches on each day are payable locally. Small local charges may apply for special exhibits.
