Sun, sea and sand – that’s what people are looking for in a holiday. Well, with the help of e2 Communications Europe, that’s what people can get…right in their email in-box. Holiday Auctions (part of the £750m Midlands Co-Op), and leading on-line travel agent, has signed a contract with e2 to use the e2 Mail Center™ to perform its permission-based email marketing campaign.

As part of the agreement, e2 provides the specialist hardware and software capable of disseminating Holiday Auctions’ email campaign, marketing such goods as holidays, flights, travel insurance, car hire and numerous ancillary travel services, both in the UK and worldwide. This campaign is a first for Holiday Auctions, as it previously relied on traditional direct-marketing tactics. Since using e2’s ‘opt-in’, house grown email marketing ethos, Holiday Auctions' database has grown from one of a few hundred to a list of thousands.
