Buyer Beware of Capricorn's Lair

Pressbox (Press Release) -
It has often been said by those in the limelight that press, no matter what type - is good. But for one company in Ogden, Utah - this really isn’t the case.
A growing number of unhappy customers are making their presence known on social media and review sites, warning others of the treatment they have received at the hands of Capricorn’s Lair, an online store selling metaphysical and gay products directly to customers and wholesalers alike.
The complaints come from all across the world, but they all have the same issues - non-existent customer service, a refusal to refund for any purchase be it damaged, the wrong item - or simply no goods and no refund.
One unhappy customer described the pro’s and con’s of their business as “Pros: None, Cons: Slow shipping money thieves”.
Another states, “I made a purchase online and received the wrong items. They will not answer the phone or emails. I am fortunate that it was under $20 compared to other complaints I have seen. I will never purchase anything else from these people.”
“I don’t understand how that place can stay in business,” says a third, “All I can hope is that enough people will see our complaints and will stop giving them $. I complained like crazy to Yahoo! shopping but I bet they’ll still deal with them. I’m fighting with my credit card co. now to get my money back.”
And it seems that these problems aren’t just restricted to their direct sales site; wholesale customers have also found themselves out of pocket and with disappointed customers, “I have spent over $600 with this company. I have received no goods, when I emailed to complain the company told me I was lying - they then despatched the goods some 3 months after the order was cancelled. Have reported them to IC3 (FBI Internet Fraud dept.) and am now taking legal action against them. “
Some of these online complaints date back to 2007, so it begs the question - why has this been allowed to go on for so long? And the answer seems to be that people are unsure of how to file a complaint or what procedure to follow with an online business that will only sporadically answer emails and won’t answer the phone. They feel out of their depth because the Internet is so different to making a complaint to a shop - and the rights of the customer aren’t always clearly explained.
In an attempt to remedy this, and call attention to the despicable behaviour of Capricorn’s Lair, one unhappy customer has created the website “Capricorn’s Lair Sucks”, which not only compiles a vast number of the complaints from across the net, but also gives you a comprehensive guide to your rights and which avenues to follow to make sure unethical business practices are stopped all together.
