www.sausagelinks.co.uk, the ultimate sausage information website has launched it's competition to find Britain's Best Banger.

Visitors to the award winning site can vote for a favourite butcher or sausagemaker at http://www.sausagelinks.co.uk/news_detail.asp?id=362.

After 3 months voting the top 10 sausages will be announced and will then be judged by sausage experts including Jimmy Doherty (of Jimmy's farm fame), food writer and author Fiona Beckett and the site's owner David Gardner in a blind tasting.

The 2005 Sausagelinks Britain's Best Banger will then be crowned in time for Sausage Appreciation Week.

One lucky reader will also win the ultimate sausage lovers trip - a expenses paid tour of a region or county of their choice visiting the best sausage shops plus a behind the scenes visit to one of the regions most popular butchers or sausage maker.
