Bridal fashion shows to feature designer wedding gowns

“Choosing between wedding dresses, and particularly designer wedding dresses, is usually a bride’s first wedding planning challenge”, explains Alison Hargreaves, the Director of Guides for Brides. Guides for Brides plans to make the process easier in Oxfordshire, by bringing together bridal wear shops featuring both designer wedding gowns and stock bridal gowns in a series of bridal fashion shows and wedding dress sales.

Designer bridal gowns from leading wedding dress designers are amongst those featuring at these specialist wedding fairs, and include: White Rose, Justin Alexander, Hilary Morgan and Ian Stuart. “The quality and variety of wedding dress designers we can showcase is tremendous”, enthuses Alison. “We boast designers such as Alan Hannah, Mon Cheri, Ronald Joyce, Alfred Sung, Helen Marina and Benjamin Roberts. When you have designers of this quality it will be a big draw for the public.”

“We also hope to feature wedding dresses from Augusta Jones, Paloma Blanca, Allure Bridal, Amanda Wyatt, Essence Bridal, Ellis Bridal and Maggie Sottero,” explains Alison.
