Sales of the remote controlled UFO – Vectron, are set to ‘take-off’ as one of this years predicted best seller receives rave reviews at Total Fun.

As a toy manufacturer, you know you have a best-seller on your hands when you launch a remote-controlled UFO aimed at the boys’ market and a 12-year-old girl tells the country that it’s ‘the present she would most like to receive this Christmas’.
That is just what Emma Philbin said, when she announced on National TV last Friday, that the Blackhawk Vectron would be her ideal gift – ahead of other predicted best-sellers, including Harry Potter dolls, pogo sticks and Lego!!
Having toured the press halls at last week’s Total Fun event at Olympia and been presented with numerous choices for her favourite Christmas gift, Emma was in no doubt as to her number one.
To adults, the Vectron is a sophisticated, remote-controlled U.F.O. that has been four years in the making and uses a new concept in hovering flight. However, to children (who have an uncanny knack of being better at these things!) with the aid of a comprehensive manual and training guide, the Vectron comes ready to fly and will transfix both boys and girls with it’s movement and flying capabilities.
Directed by three rotating blades and based on intricate US Air force technology, the Vectron is suitable for both established remote-controllers and novices, a series of training programmes allow for quick, basic use and for the more daring, a turbo mode adds supercharged power to provide greater height and movement sensitivity.
For indoor and outdoor use, the Vectron is powered by an AC adaptor and comes complete with a fully programmable LED display, which can carry 4 messages of up to 30 characters.
