Amsterdam is favourite European destination

Readers of female interest website FemaleFirst.co.uk have voted Amsterdam as their favourite European destination.

Amsterdam came top of the list when compared to all the other major European cities.

Paris was voted second favourite, London third and Rome finished in fourth place, followed by Barcelona.

The week long poll was undertaken by 101,100 FemaleFirst readers.
