A Pair Of Diamond Stud Earrings Given Away

Diamond Earrings.co.uk launched a competition back in November 2005 which gave visitors to it's site the chance to win a pair of Diamond Earrings by answering a simple question.
Gary Ingram who runs the website was overwhelmed by the response and number of participants: "We ended up with over 7500 entrants, this is a huge number considering people had christmas and the January sales to keep them busy".
The winner was chosen at random on the 6th February and Margaret Duffy of Manchester was contacted and given the good news. "She received the earrings on Valentines Day itself and sent us an email saying how delighted she was with the prize and how her husband had been given a let off this year!"
The earrings that Margaret won were a beautiful pair of 1/5th Carat Diamond Studs set in 18k white gold, they are on sale at the Diamond Earrings Online Store for £215 but they usually retail on the high street for £299.
We will be running another Diamond Earring competition in the next month and Gary Ingram has said that they are looking to improve the prize on offer and perhaps stretch to a half carat pair of diamond stud earrings or maybe try offering another style, something like Diamond Hoop Earrings or a pair of Diamond chandelier earrings.
