Panda Software (UK) Announces Appointment of Managing Director

Leading antivirus developer Panda Software (UK) Ltd. today announced the appointment of Ian Hale as Managing Director. Ian Hale has also been named as a director of Formjet Plc, the new holding company of Panda following last months MBO.
Hale has extensive global experience in the development of partnerships within the distributor and reseller channels as well as in the management and expansion of OEM and Strategic Alliance partners. He has worked within the anti-virus industry for the last 15 years holding positions with Dr Solomon’s and Trend Micro. Both of these companies subsequently become major global brands and attracted merger bids from competitors; Network Associates Inc. and Intel Corporation.
