With Intel Core i7/i5 processor, Nuvo-1000 offers extraordinary performance for image and arithmetic intensive applications. In order to create a best fanless controller with high computing power and excellent thermal conduction performance, a thermal--oriented CPU board has been successfully created to achieve the widest operation temperature and the most long term durability. With sophisticated circuit design and selected wide temperature components, Nuvo-1000 is able to offer ¡V40~70 ¢XC operation temperature and is the leading performance i7/i5 fanless platform in the market.



In addition to CPU and thermal design, rich application¡Vfocus interfaces are also provided by Nuvo-1000. For vision intensive applications, up to Five Gigabit Ethernet ports are offered to support maximum GbE camera connections. For automation control purpose, on-board isolated digital inputs and digital outputs are designed to control and communicate with external devices. And you might see heat pipes to convey the heat too. Then the heat sinks will be connected to outer chassis (normally it is made of alumni). And thermal pads will be applied to fill the gap between the heat sinks and alumni chassis. Furthermore, you might find several pieces of wires and cables to the connectors. Obviously, one might be thinking how effective the thermal conduction is and how reliable the system could be while facing vibration and shock challenges. The design objective of Nuvo-1000 is to create smart and compact architect to create lowest thermal conduction resistance in the system. We successfully design a single main board and a single heat sink to form the high performance fanless system. It is wide temperature operated with most compact size (240x195x76 mm).
