New ActiveX control for VB graph plotting
Added: (Fri Nov 04 2005)
Encore Consulting has just released the ecGraph ActiveX control for Visual Basic. ecGraph adds stylish scientific, engineering and general graphing to VB programs using the in-built default settings and just a few lines of code. You can completely control the appearance of graphs using the hundreds of available commands. Each page can hold multiple graphs, and each graph can have multiple axes. You can use the mouse to zoom and scroll areas of the graph, and adjust the graph and legend table positions on the page. Several VB demos are included to show how to use all ecGraph's features. Features include color gradients, fonts, grid lines, log-linear scales, and legend tables. You can plot discrete data points (with optional error bars) or continuous math functions like y = sin(x)*exp(-x/10), and you can add text anywhere on the graph. Other controls released recently by Encore Consulting include ecMathExpr, ecGradient and ecGrid. For more information visit http://www.encoreconsulting.com.au/
